Ildefonso Silva is a principal in McKinsey's Chicago office. He is a leader in both the Operations and Consumer/Packaged Goods practices, and previously led the Supply Chain service line in Latin America.

Since joining the firm in September 2002, Ildefonso has served clients primarily in consumer, retail, automotive and industrial sectors. He has advised clients in a range of operations topics, from redesigning supply chains to implementing lean manufacturing and purchasing transformation programs.

Ildefonso also led the knowledge effort, "Bridging the Supply Chain Divide," which provides a perspective on how companies can develop core cross-functional capabilities such as complexity and service level management, and production strategy (click the publications tab on Ildefonso's profile to see related content).
